Simon has spent the past 20 years working as an organisational change consultant, coach and facilitator, supporting clients in transforming their organisations and developing learning cultures. Over this time, he has been based in the UK and Germany, and worked extensively across Central Europe, in English and German (and enthusiastic Polish…).
Common areas of focus for his work include strategy engagement, organisation design and culture change in organisations, especially in the context of achieving greater organisational agility, customer orientation, collaboration and playfulness. He is particularly interested in the role organisational language, metaphor, story and narratives play in shaping, perpetuating, or changing cultures and organisational systems. He works with individuals and senior functional and leadership teams to help them explore these patterns and their implications for their success.
He has worked with a wide range of public, private and third sector clients. These have included organisations such as Barclays, Siemens, Bayer, Shell, British Council, VW, Telefónica, Regina Maria Healthcare, Mann+Hummel, Eakin Healthcare, UK Government, Scottish Government, the NHS, and Novartis, amongst others.
He holds the Ashridge Masters in Organisational Change, is a CIPD qualified L&D practitioner and has a first degree in English and German Literature from The Queen’s College, Oxford.
