Andrew is an experienced Organisation Development Consultant and Executive Coach with over 20 years of international experience of consulting at senior levels in large, complex organisations. He specializes in supporting leaders to engage people in systemic change and complex organizational transitions. His expertise lies in reading organizational and cultural dynamics and working out with his clients how to effectively develop teams, working practices and cultures. He believes co-creation, imagination and learning from experience are the essence of effective and ethical change processes.
Andrew combines his practical experience with his deep theoretical knowledge in psychodynamic, sociological and anthropological frameworks, to help his clients to understand group and cultural dynamics. He brings a depth of thought, reflection and insight to his consulting practice. He questions and confronts his clients to challenge their deeper assumptions and supports them to change their behaviour.
Andrew has worked with leading public and private sector organisations both as an internal and external consultant. Significant consulting projects include working on cultural change and organisation re-design in the NHS, Civil Service and Ford Motor Company; development of consulting and change capability in BT and Merck; and Executive Development assignments with BP and the National Audit Office. He worked at Ashridge Business School for 12 years during which he led its OD consulting practice. Earlier in his career, he managed the Organisation Psychology and OD department at Ford of Europe.
In addition to his consulting experience, he has a strong academic and research background. He teaches on the Ashridge Masters in Organisational Change and Masters in Executive Coaching and has published research on Executive Coaching, leadership and organizational change. He is a Chartered Psychologist, hold a Masters degree and Doctorate in Organisational Psychology and a Doctorate in Counselling Psychology and Psychotherapy.
Andrew lives in North London with his wife and young daughter. He speaks intermediate Greek.
